‘Feeling Alive And Proud’: Pakistani Expats Laud Armed Forces, Govt
Pakistan on Wednesday retaliated to Indian aggression and shot down two Indian jets for intruding into Pakistan’s territory.
After Tuesday’s Line of Control violation by the Indian Air Force in which jets from the neighbouring country entered Pakistan’s territory and discharged 1000kgs payload near Balakot, Pakistan’s armed forces had vowed to surprise India.

DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said that Pakistan will respond to India aggression at the right time and place. He also said that Pakistan does not want to go to war, but had to respond to Indian aggression to show what the country was capable of.
Tuesday’s Pak-operation has been a success not just militarily but on diplomatic terms as well. Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again offered India to ease tensions via talks. Khan said that war was not a solution to the tensions between the two countries.

All of this has not only got Pakistani citizens praising the government and the armed forces for their professional dealings, Pakistani expats have also shared their messages.
Twitter users Sumo Rizvi said that after India’s attack in Balakot, his Indian colleague poked fun at him and that he had to walk away in disappointment. However, after Pakistan’s response, he feels proud of the nation’s armed forces and has leveled the scores with his colleague.

Mohsin Hijazee said that he was proud of Pakistan’s response and could walk on the streets of Germany with his head held high. He also said what happened was ‘ugly’ and could be avoided.
Hardly anyone would mistake me as a hate monger or fascist but I've never travelled on German roads with such a morning feeling so much alive with my head so much high.
What happened – It's ugly but it was extremely unavoidable.

People are also proud because Pakistan’s armed forces have successfully avenged the trees… And the poor crow who died as a result of Indian aggression.

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on Wednesday shot down 2 Indian jets for intruding into the Pakistani airspace.
One of the jets crashed near Azad and Jammu Kashmir and the pilot was taken into custody. The other was shot down near the Indian occupied-Kashmir and both the pilot and the co-pilot have reportedly been killed, Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
