Pakistan Ready To Take Action If India Provides Evidence: PM Imran Khan On Pulwama Attack
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said that Pakistan was ready to take action over the Pulwama Attack if India provides evidence that elements within the country were responsible.
In his official response to India allegations of Pakistani ‘involvement’ in Pulwama Attack, Khan offered India that if the neighbouring country was ready to investigate the matter and provide evidence, Pakistan will cooperate and take necessary action.
“I offer India full co-operation to India and assure them that action will be taken if they can prove involvement of any Pakistani in the Pulwama Attack,” Imran Khan said. He added that Pakistani is ready to take action not because of ‘pressure’ but because any person using Pakistan’s land to spread terror in neighbouring countries is an ‘enemy’.
He said every time Pakistan offers to hold dialogue over the Kashmir issue, India sets talks over terrorism as a pre-condition. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, he added, was ready to talk about terrorism too because it was a problem faced by the entire region. Khan said 70,000 people have lost their lives due to terrorism in Pakistan.
“What would Pakistan get of doing so? Why would Pakistan ‘plan’ attacks while preparing for an important conference and visit of the Saudi Crown Prince? Even if the Saudi Prince was not coming to Pakistan, why would we get of it?” Khan continued.
He criticized the Indian government saying that they were leveling baseless allegations on Pakistan without providing an evidence. “India is still living in the past. Every time something happens in Kashmir, fingers are pointed towards Pakistan. This is Naya Pakistan, we would not allow anyone from our land to spread terror in other regions and vice versa,” Khan said.
pic.twitter.com/oFo8IlCHPI

Khan said Pakistan was ready to talk on terrorism, but India also needs to start thinking if military operation is the only solution to Kashmir issue. “Had there been a military solution to Kashmir issue, it would have been resolved by now”
The premier also warned that in case of an ‘attack’ on Pakistan, the latter will retaliate and reply befittingly. “In case of an Indian attack, Pakistan will retaliate and we do not know what will happen next. It is easier to start a war, but extremely hard to end it.”
