‘Will Respond To Indian Aggression At The Right Time And Place’
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday called an emergency security meeting in which it was said that Pakistan will respond to Indian aggression at the right time and place and that the matter will be discussed and highlighted on international forums.
Early on Tuesday, Indian jets intruded from the Muzzafargarh sector into Pakistan’s territory but after facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot.

Soon after, PM Khan called an emergency meeting which was attended by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak and heads of Pakistan army, navy and air force.
A brief issued after the meeting said that India was using its anti-Pakistan rhetoric for the upcoming elections in the country. It was said that Pakistan will respond to Indian aggression at the right time and place. The forum also rejected Indian claims that they targeted an alleged ‘terrorist camp’ in Balakot and condemned the intrusion.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director-General Major General Asif Ghafoor on Tuesday said that Indian Air Force (IAF) intruded from the Muzzafarabad sector into Pakistan but after facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot.

Asif Ghafoor said that the intrusion within Azad and Jammu Kashmir was 3-4 miles. He said after the Indian jets’ hasty escape released payload which fell in open area. No casualties or property damages were reported.
Tensions between the two countries have soared in the wake of the Pulwama Attack, in which 40 odd Indian paramilitary soldiers were killed when a van packed with explosives rammed into a convoy.
