Although the Galiyat Authorities have been persistent in environmentalist measures in said areas, the backing of the provincial government has lead to increase awareness regarding the issue at hand.
Many took to twitter appreciating the official stance of imposing fines upon littering, tourists were of the view that such measures need to be taken across the board in other tourist destinations including Kumrat Valley.
Need to apply fines in Kumrat Valley, impose fines on tourists as well. It is in complete shambles. A sad state of affairs with trash everywhere. Perfect example a place not ready for mass tourism but made famous by just one tweet from our dear PM. Where is the Eco-tourism?
