3 Lahore Journalists Get Coronavirus, Staffers Demand Closure Of Offices
Two staffers of channel 24 News HD and an employee of channel AbbTakk have tested positive for the deadly coronavirus, after which the staff members of the said channels and other media personnel have called on the owners to let them work from home.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) 24 News HD Mohsin Naqvi took to Twitter to inform people that a staffer was diagnosed with coronavirus. “We will quarantine few staff members, and will continue to assure that all precautions possible are taken,” said the CEO.

Journalist Gharidah Farooqi claimed on Twitter that total three cases of coronavirus have emerged from mainstream media channels, out of which two were reported from channel 24, and one from channel AbbTakk.

Media personnel and staff members of channel 24 have started raising their voices on social media and appealed to the owners to allow the staffers to work from home until the coronavirus crisis persists.
