LUMS Students Hold Protest During Bilawal’s Visit For Not Being Allowed To Ask Questions
Students of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) staged a protest during Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s visit to the varsity on Friday for alleged censorship at the event by the administration. The students said they were not allowed to ask candid questions and the event was highly regulated.
A student of LUMS, who wished not to be named, told Naya Daur that students were barred from asking questions from the PPP chairman during his talk about the 18th amendment.
The protesting students also reportedly held placards demanding justice for Namrita, a medical student from Larkana, Sindh, who was raped and killed.
LUMS Law and Politics Society had hosted the PPP Chairman to talk about 18th amendment and federalism.

However, the administration had reportedly warned the students against ‘politicising’ the event.
So @BBhuttoZardari is coming to LUMS and the @LPSatLUMS has asked students to not "politicise" the talk and refrain from political questions (to be screened by the moderator). Isn't Bilawal a POLITICIAN? Itna darr kis baat ka hai? Is he afraid he won't be able to answer?

The university’s move to regulate the event generated outrage on social media with people asking as to how a session featuring a politician can be non-political.
