Anyone Sympathising With Ahmadis Is Disloyal To Pakistan, Says Minister
Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has said that anyone in Pakistan sympathising with the Ahmadiyya community can never be loyal to the country and Islam.
The minister in his interview to journalist Nadeem Malik on his show commented on the government’s recent decision to exclude Ahmadis from National Commission for Minorities. “I believe Ahmadis can’t be treated as other non-Muslims. And anyone who has a soft corner for them [Ahmadis] can never be loyal to Islam and Pakistan,” the federal minister said.

People on Twitter are criticising Nadeem Malik for expressing religious bigotry while discussing the government’s move. “Stop finding new ways to torment Ahmadis Nadeem Malik. You’re fooling no one by pretending to be a champion of the constitution. This is what bigotry would look like if it were a TV show,” the journalist Mehreen Zahra Malik.
Stop finding new ways to torment Ahmadis @nadeemmalik. You’re fooling no one by pretending to be a champion of the constitution. This is what bigotry would look like if it were a tv show. Terrified that this toxic discussion will leap into the world of flesh and blood. #Pakistan https://t.co/wFLtKiYWv3

Rabid incitement to violence against three federal ministers and cabinet secretary by Nadeem Malik – even a PTI mullah cautioned about risking pp's lives on air…

Pathetic display of bigotry here, that too over a discussion in the cabinet about including an Ahmadi member in a toothless commission on *minorities* which has no real legal standing, mandate
Astounding how people get away with spewing hatred against Ahmadis on a regular basis https://t.co/Gwi8Uykgf3

Even an extremist like Ali Muhammad Khan cannot satisfy Nadeem Malik who is baying for blood (at someone else's behest obviously, man is the biggest pay for play guy there is) and wants people hanged for the crime of including Ahmadis amongst minorities https://t.co/50f7zKeEDt

The most likely lens through which to understand Nadeem Malik's hate-filled shows regarding Ahmadi's and attempting to identify and castigate those ministers who proposed they be made part of the Minorities Commission. https://t.co/L8aNPdMwXF

Nadeem Malik actually wanted the religious affairs minister to name the cabinet members who were in favour of including a member of Ahmadiyya Community in minorities commission. What good would it do? It will only put lives of cabinet members in danger.pic.twitter.com/1FskhrJKM0

What were you @nadeemmalik trying to prove ??? Unbelievable… How could you ask him to name those who suggested to add ahmadi member in commission knowing what their fate would be then ?pic.twitter.com/zXXHJ1QHO2

On Tuesday, the federal cabinet decided not to include members of the Ahmadiyya community in the National Commission for Minorities. Earlier, 92 News reported that the federal cabinet approved a summary moved by the religious ministry against inclusion of Ahmadis in the commission. It was also reported that PM Imran had chaired a federal cabinet meeting on Wednesday, in which the concerned summary was tabled for approval. During the meeting, a number of federal cabinet members had endorsed the inclusion of Ahmadis in the said commission.
