Quetta’s Hazara Town Turns Battleground As Pashtun Man Beaten To Death By Mob
A Pashtun man was lynched and three others sustained severe injuries in Hazara Town area of Quetta when an enraged mob comprising 300 men attacked them reportedly over a monetary dispute. The attackers belonged to the Hazara community.
According to local sources, another version about the incident suggests that the violence was committed in the name of ‘honour’ as the attackers had accused some men of recording a video of the Hazara women.
A video from the site of the incident is doing the rounds on social media. It can be seen that the police officials are helping the alleged perpetrators escape the crime scene.
Social media is abuzz with condemnation of the incident and people have demanded the authorities to catch the perpetrators at the earliest.
Violence has no religion, sect or ethnicity. The Hazara town incident is not a community act. It is from violent individuals. We demand the culprits be arrested and justice be served.

Shocked & saddened at the news of 3 young Pashtun men being brutally lynched in Hazara Town. There is no excuse for such a horrific act. Those responsible must be arrested immediately. May God give their families strength to bear this immense loss & may peace prevail.

Extremely saddened by today’s incident in Hazara Town. The worst act by those culprits. The culprits must be punished legally, and plz don’t connect this act with the whole community.
I as a member of the community strongly condemn this act of brutality.
