‘Govt Tried To Enforce Black Law In Name Of FATF, Was Caught Red-Handed’

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former federal minister Ahsan Iqbal has accused the government of trying to enforce a ‘black law’ in the grab of Financial Action Task Force (FATF) measures. He said that under the initial draft bill, anyone could be jailed for six months.

He expressed these views while addressing a press conference. The PML-N leader added that the PTI won’t be able to hide its incompetence by blaming the opposition, adding that the government has completely on every front.

Ahsan Iqbal further said that that traders and investors have beet met with disappointment due to the government’s policies.
