Yousaf Raza Gilani Wins Senate Election

Opposition’s joint candidate Yousaf Raza Gilani has won the Senate’s seat from Islamabad. PTI candidate Hafeez Sheikh accepted his defeat and shook hands with Gilani in the National Assembly. The former PM’s win in the hotly contested Senate election is being considered an upset by analysts.
