Minister Says Taliban’s Families Live In Islamabad, Injured Fighters Are Treated In Pakistan’s Hospitals

In a surprising statement, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that families of the Afghan Taliban live in Pakistan, including in some areas of Islamabad. He added that they reside in various areas including Islamabad’s Bara Kahu.

“Even dead bodies of some Afghan Taliban commanders arrive in Pakistan. Sometimes they also get medical assistance in Pakistan,” he said while talking to anchor Saleem Safi on his show on Geo News.

He went on to say that he can foresee Prime Minister Imran Khan emerging as a great leader in times of this regional crisis.

    Sir,
The honourable Minister has spoken the truth. He should be commended, as has followed the words of the Prophet.
What should concern the people of Pakistan, is the inevibility of the saying that, “those who live by the sword shall die by the sword.” Even that thing is OK! But what the people should ensure is that the confragation should not spread into Pakistan and make it a mad-house of intolerance and bigotry. Violence does not solve problems permanently. But Rule of Law and showing kindness certainly does!
