9 Pakistanis Killed In NZ Terror Attacks, Confirms FO
A death toll of Pakistanis killed in the New Zealand terrorist attacks rose to nine, according to Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal.
Taking to Twitter, the FO confirmed that three more Pakistanis — a son and his parents — have died.
Mr Zeeshan Raza, his father Mr Ghulam Hussain and mother Ms. Karam bibi have now been confirmed to have embraced shahadat in the terrroist attack in #NewZealand. We are in touch with their family. A total of 9 Pakistanis embraced shahadat in #NewZealandTerrorAttack

Earlier, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, while confirming the death of six Pakistanis expressed condolences, saying, “My heart is filled with sorrow as I confirm the deaths of the following Pakistanis who embraced Shahadat in the horrific terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand. To their families, I express my deepest sympathies and promise to facilitate them to the best of our abilities.”

One of the victims, Naeem Rashid would be given a national award for his courage.
Taking to Twitter, the PM said: “Pakistan is proud of Mian Naeem Rashid who was martyred trying to tackle the White Supremacist terrorist & his courage will be recognized with a national award.”

Naeem Rashid, 50, was from Abbottabad and tried to tackle the terrorist. His son Taha Naeem, 22, was also killed in the attack.
Haroon Mahmood was also among those who were killed. He was a PhD student at Lincoln University.

A chartered accountant from Karachi, Syed Areeb Ahmad, was also killed in the attack. He was 27-year-old.
