Pakistani Man Who Tried To Tackle NZ Terrorist To Get National Award: PM Khan
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that Pakistan is proud of Naeem Rashid, who tried to stop New Zealand shooter, and his courage will be recognized by a national award.
Taking to Twitter, PM Khan said, “Pakistan is proud of Mian Naeem Rashid who was martyred trying to tackle the White Supremacist terrorist & his courage will be recognized with a national award.”
The premier also said that “we stand ready to extend all our support to the families of Pakistani victims of the terrorist attack in Christchurch”.

A gunman went on a shooting rampage in two mosques of New Zealand, killing more than 40 people and injuring many. The shooter live streamed the attack and in the video, Rashid could be seen stopping the shooter.
Earlier, Foreign Office Spokesperson Muhammed Faisal confirmed that nine Pakistanis have been killed in the attack.

People have called Rashid a “real hero” after he tried to tackle the attacker whose 22 years old son was also killed in the attack.
